DESCRIPTION

This presentation is dedicated to creators who would like their cultural work to be freely licensed. It starts by addressing key concepts of the copyright law, public domain, copyleft, the commons and Creative Commons licenses. It explains key features of these licenses, what they should be used for, the differences between v. 3.0 and 4.0 of the licenses, what are the Creative Commons licenses (rights grants) at your disposal and why you should be using copyleft, and what it takes to use them in jurisdictions like Albania. The presentation will also mention the details of opening a Creative Commons chapter in Albania in order to promote these kinds of work.
