Scripture suggests Lucifer was our guardian• When he betrayed Adam & Eve,

he betrayed the sacred role God had given him and lost his place with the angels.

As God gave this realm to us, & created us in His image, when we listened to Lucifer we empowered him

here. • That’s why Christ had to come, as ‘the last Adam,’ to take the keys

of death and hell of him and give the keys to the kingdom to us.

and help manifest the kingdom of heaven here.

This Week - Angels

Angel: Greek word ‘angelos’ = “messenger.”

In scripture angels seem to have five main tasks:

1. Serving before God (“his angels”, “angels in heaven”, “angels of God”)

2. Representing God in the O.T(“Angel of the Lord,” “Destroying Angel)

3. Acting as his messengers to us4. Working on our behalf & ministering to us5. Contending with the enemy
