DESCRIPTION

Google+ has long been predicted to be the 'next big thing' in social media. Whether or not this comes to fruition, Google+ plays an important role in search engine optimization for both organic and local Google search results. This slide deck starts with a brief introduction to Google+ and explains the SEO benefits of using this platform. It then dives into the proper setup and optimization of a Google+ page, and ends with crafting a manageable, efficient, and successful content strategy for Google+. This slide deck benefits small and large businesses alike who wish to enhance their presence on Google's search and social networks. This presentation was conducted at Mercy Corps in Portland Oregon, on July 23rd, 2014. About the presenter: Devan brings 6 years of experience in audience research and social media to Anvil. She has worked with numerous household brands including Old Spice, Weiden+Kennedy, Xbox, and Internet Explorer. She enjoys cooking, which is fortunate because she grew up in Walla Walla, Washington, and likes to bring the office bags and bags of onions come harvest.
