Maleki > Waterproofing

Roads

Problem •Roads normally can have water penetrate, leading to damage of surface.

Solution • Treatment with DW 100 seals

pores & prevents damage due to efflorescence

Note: This is a treatment done to concrete post cure, hence cannot rectify defects in the original cast concrete

Maleki > Waterproofing > Road Maleki > Waterproofing > Road

Bridges

Problem • Water & salt-water are

extremely corrosive when in close proximity

• High humidity combined with porous nature of concrete promotes growth of various algae, fungi & other organisms, creating maintenance issues

Solution • Hydrophobic behavior

brought in by LL 100 seals pores and makes the surface hydrophobic -thereby taking care of both issues

Maleki > Waterproofing > Bridges

Dockyard Structures

Problem • In addition to water/saltwater

issues, dockyard structures are exposed to pollutants & chemically aggressive environments.

• Particulates in water also physically wear and erode the concrete structures.

Solution • DW100/LL100 combination

to be considered to resolve these issues

Maleki > Waterproofing > DockyardsMaleki > Waterproofing > Dockyards

Dams & Storage Tanks

Problem • Water under pressure

• Conventional treatments are only preferred on the +ve side - difficult to work on

Solution • Maleki materials work

from both +ve & -ve side

• DW100 / DS 220 / DS 250 Flex

Maleki > Waterproofing > DamsMaleki > Waterproofing > Dams

Pipes

Problem • Concrete pipes are designed for

long duration uses, typically installed in difficult to access locations

• Typical uses are for either storm water or sewage and hence their wall thickness is overdesigned, assuming loss in wall thickness over its designed life.

Solution • Pipes designed as per structural

requirement - wall thickness can be reduced. Savings in cost of material then more than offsets the cost of protection by use of Maleki DW 100

Maleki > Waterproofing > PipesMaleki > Waterproofing > Pipes

Township drivewaysPodiumsMultilevel Parking

Problem Although slabs in such locations are not exposed to rain, the absence of waterproofing causes issues to lower levels.

Solution Waterproofing (DS 220 / DS 250 Flex)/ sealing (DW 100) of pores helps reducing efforts of maintenance on an ongoing basis

Maleki > Waterproofing > Multilevel ParkingMaleki > Waterproofing > Multilevel Parking

Basements

Problem • Water under pressure

• Conventional treatments are only preferred on the + ve side - difficult to work on

Solution • Basement waterproofing

can be done in confined spaces DS 250 Flex / DW 100

• Can be done from –ve side if +ve side is not accessible

Maleki > Waterproofing > BasementsMaleki > Waterproofing > Basements

BathroomsBalcony Terrace Problem

• Conventional BBK (Birck-Bat Koba) with its' inherent limitations also requires 4-6" ht.

• Intricacies of casting slab is required to accommodate the 4-6" ht difference so required.

• Process is time consuming - requires multistage, multiple day cure

Solution • Superior quality of waterproofing can

be achieved, in less than 3mm (DS 250 Flex)

• Floor leveling & subsequent tile laying can be taken up as early as 8 hrs after applying MALEKI waterproofing materials.

• Project times to completion stand to be substantially reduced.

Masonry + Plaster

1.Masonry chambers for intersections of waterlines

2.External & internal walls with conventional cement plaster

3.Irrigation canals/Open water channels

Maleki > Waterproofing > MasonryMaleki > Waterproofing > Masonry

Masonry chambers for intersections of waterlines

Problem •Manholes end up with corrosive environments - stepping ladders are known to corrode and cause a safety hazard to maintenance crews entering them

Solution •Cost effective waterproofing along with protection of large infrastructure fluid handling lines.•KM 750 / SWP 270 / TPC 220

Maleki > Waterproofing > Manholes Maleki > Waterproofing > Manholes

External & internal walls with conventional cement plaster

Problem • Efflorescence, fungal growth

etc. contribute to lowering life of external plastered surfaces.

Solution • Maleki products ensure

closing of pores to prevent these phenomenon - thereby increasing the life of such external surfaces, in addition to their water barrier characteristics (LL 100)

Maleki > Waterproofing > WallsMaleki > Waterproofing > Walls

Irrigation Canals Open water channels

Problem •Leakage losses from irrigation canals have the combined problem of:• lower delivery to intended users

as per plan,• increase in salinity of adjacent

lands• leading to loss in agricultural

yield despite availability of water

Solution •Maleki products are unaffected by UV and hence continue to function in the most adverse outdoor conditions (DS 220 / DS 250 Flex)/ DW 100)

Solution •MALEKI DW 100 provides a green solution – with all processing done at works before delivery on site

Maleki > Chemical Environments > STP Fluid PipesMaleki > Chemical Environments > STP Fluid Pipes

Industrial effluent treatment plants

Problem •pH range can be very extreme

•Effluents can contain heavy metals, particulates etc. which will have mechanical abrasion as a problem as wellSolution •Special materials (KM 750 / SWP 270 / TPC 220) can handle pH ranges from 0-14•Abrasive erosion along with high chemical stress can be handled by Maleki KM 750

Maleki > Chemical Environments > Industrial effluent treatment plantsMaleki > Chemical Environments > Industrial effluent treatment plants
