BDA is the development agency established in accordance with the Humanitarian, Rehabilitation and Development aspect of GRP-MILF Peace Agreement of 22 June 2001.

Framework Agreement on Bangsamoro

To coordinate whenever necessary development programs in Bangsamoro communities in conjunction with the MILF Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA), the Bangsamoro Leadership and Management Institute (BLMI) and other agencies

To determine, lead and manage relief, rehabilitation and development projects in the conflict-affected areas of Mindanao.

An enlightened, progressive, self-sustaining and healthy Bangsamoro community living in harmony, dignity, justice, security and peace.

BDA promotes a model of development anchored on the belief of stewardship and values of inclusiveness, fairness, transparency, accountability as a learning organization towards institutional competence, effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability.
