SELECTING AN IDENTIFYING ELEMENT IS A PROCESS. BIRTHING THE ICON OR LOGO IS AN ORGANIC PROCESS
THAT TENDS TO REVEAL ITSELF RATHER THAN BE ARRIVED AT INTELLECTUALLY.
FOR EXAMPLE, THE NAME ‘ART AND BYTES’ EVOLVED TO ART & BYTES. THE ‘&’ SYMBOL IS A NATURAL OBJECT TO USE AND DEVELOP FOR EASY IDENTIFICATION.
NOT ONLY DID IT BECOME THE ICON AND FOCAL POINT BUT IT EVOLVED TO THE POINT WHERE IT WORKED DYNAMICALLY AND WAS EASILY RECOGNIZED.
