The Need

• Europe has an increasing number of cancer patients, mostly due to aging. Population is v diverse

• Cancer is very complex is mutiple often conflicting information sources

• No quality assurance. Low levels of integration• Poor communication is a key cancer public policy

issue (Eurocan study for the EU Parliament, 2008.)

Purpose

• To establish an efficient communications portal for all those involved in cancer

• A community platform and Onco-Google…
