The Move

Laguna Isle was peaceful. The air cold and chilly on a winter night. Children all in bed

and the house mostly quiet.

Mostly quiet because Ani-Mei and her husband, Reias, were frantically trying to fix the shower. The cold had caused the

pipes to burst.“Reias there’s still water pouring everywhere!”

“I know, I know.”*knock knock*

“Who would be at the door this hour?” Ani-Mei wanted to know.

“Please be awake.” Pony prayed shivering the cold. It was late almost midnight. But it was

urgent that she saw Ani-Mei right away.

“Pony!” Ani-mei gasped, “What are you doing here, it’s the middle of the night? You want something to drink? You look half frozen.”“Not frozen, I haven’t sleep in a week.”

“Why?”

“Our collective eggs are cooked.” Pony said grimly.“What do you mean?” Ani-Mei saked confused.

“It started when I sent Gabie away and the Pokemon kids went to college. Mia said Squirtle had been feeling ill a few days. She was

throwing up and her stomach hurt.”

“We can’t get sick like that.” Ani-Mei gasped.“I know that.” Pony sighed, “So I went to Ivy

to ask about it. She said Tara had been acting rather smug the past few days.”

“Oh dear.”

“I started worrying about that point. I went to the gypsies. I had to promise that

Eucalyptus would be trained in the Arts to pay the price.”

“I’d love to see you explain that to Flora.”“Ani-Mei please.”

“Tara made Squirtle sterile. Completely, she can’t have children.” Pony said in a broken

hearted voice. “She paid the dark witches to do it so her soul would be clean.”

“Oh my Boolprop!” Ani-mei choked.

“What about the boys, Blastoise and Wartortle?”

“The gypsies says the spell will extend to their wives.” Pony explained, “There is a way

around the curse.”“How?”

“You.” Pony said, “You take the family to Silver Bend. Only you can, Mia’s still needed her, and Keika and Gabie already have avatars in Silver Bend. You take the entire family to Silver Bend

and they’ll be safe from Tara.”“Pony, I have a family here.”

“The time gate, you’ll passed through the time gate. Part of you will continue on to Silver Bend and part of you will stay here. You know how these things work.”

“Won’t that happen to the Pokemons?”“To some degree, but the spell won’t pass through the gate. The cursed Squirtle will stay here

and the important facet of her will move on.”

“Okay, I can’t really say no. If this gives us the only choice to continue the Pokemon

Legacy.”“It’s the only chance I’ve got.” Pony said voice cracking. “The ship’s at the beach

house. I’ll go talk to Charrie and we’ll meet there day after tomorrow.”

Pony rushed down the street to Charrie’shouse. The light’s were still on and the door

unlocked.

She found Charrie sitting at the table in tears.“Charrie?” Pony said softly.

“I miss him and Mom so much Pony.” Charrie sobbed.

“Oh Charrie.” Pony whispered. Charrie was alone in the house after the kids left. She

regretted not finding Charrie a husband so she wouldn’t be alone in her grief.

“There’s a way to bring them back.” Pony said reluctantly. She hadn’t planned on telling Charrie this, but she hated

seeing her friend cry.“Don’t be so cruel Pony.” Charrie said hotly, “Laguna Isle is a

one way street.”“I’m not being cruel. I came over for a reason.”

“Well, tell me.” Charrie demanded.“Your Legacy is in danger.”

“The witches…” Charrie snorted.“Yeah, well Tara finally cooked up something nasty. Squritle is sterile. We have to take

her through the time gate to break the curse.”

“The time gate?”

“It’s how you can move between island in this archipelago. It’s basically a portal between worlds. Magic from this island

can’t travel through unless it’s simself magic.”“What does that have to do with Mom and Dad?”

“If you take the entire family through along with their urns. I believe they’ll be alive on the other side.” Pony explained, “It has to be the entire family though. Even spare spouses and

children.”

“I’ll call everyone in the morning.” Charrie promised.

“Tell them to meet at my old beach house day after tomorrow.”

The next morning Charrie confront Squirtle about her illness.

“Why didn’t you tell me you were sick?” Charrie demanded.

“I’m sorry, Momma. I didn’t want you to worry. I thought it was just a stomach bug.”

“Well, don’t do it again.” Charrie scolded. She sighed, “Pony has a way to fix all this.”

“Thank you all for coming short notice.” Charrie started awkwardly.

“Well you sounded upset on the phone.” Mel shrugged.

“Can we hurry up?” Rizzi asked, “I left Gordon home alone with the kids.”

“We’re in.” Venusaur and Ivysaur said together after Charrie explained everything.

“I should have noticed what Tara was doing.” Ivysaur sighed, “I’ll do anything to make it

right.”“Don’t beat yourself up Ivy.” Venusaur said

kindly.

“Our familes have to come too.” Bulbasaur asked.“Yes.”

“Then Mel and I are in.”

“Well I’m not. Pony was very clear with me. Life is one way. I can’t believe just getting on a ship and sailing to another island is going to bring back Mom and Dad.” Rizzi

snapped.“Rizzi..” Mel started.

“Don’t Mel.” Rizzi said getting up, “I’m going home. You guys do whatever you want.”

Charrie sighed, “Sorry Mom.” The rift between her and Rizzi was still there. She had hoped that when she married Gordon

that time would heal the wounds.“It’ll be okay Charrie. I’ll talk to her.” Mel said

getting up and following Rizzi.

“Why did you follow me home Mel?” Rizzi demanded.

“You have to reconsider, Rizzi.” Mel said determined. “This is our chance to see Mom

and Dad again. It doesn’t matter if it doesn’t work. We should at least try.”“I care Mel, but I have ten toddlers. Proof that Pony hates me. Ten toddlers. I

want to see Mom and Dad again, but I’m not going to uproot ten toddlers just on a faint glimmer of hope.”

“What about Squirtle? What about the legacy?”“Ten toddlers Mel, and Charrie and Squirtle never call, they don’t care about me,

why should I care about them.”

“Please Rizzi.” Mel begged.“Enough Mel, I’ve got my kids to think of.”

“Mel what’s going on?” Gordon asked.“Oh Gordon!” Mel sighed in relief, “Maybe you can talk to her.” She explained everything as

fast as she could.“I’ll talk to her once we get the kids to sleep.”

Gordon promised.

The next morning, Charrie scanned the beach restlessly while the shop was being loaded. Everyone was here but Rizzi and her family. Pony said they needed everyone for this to

work.

“Did she tell you anything Mel?” Charrie asked her sister almost frantic.

“Gordon said he would talk to her.” Mel said, “Have a little faith.”

“Charrie!” Pony yelled, “The tide is coming in, we’ve got to get you guys going.”

“Mel!” Charrie begged.“Don’t look me like at she wouldn’t even talk

to me yesterday.”“You’re her twin. You’re supposed to be able

to psychic connection her.”“I’m a fire type. Not psychic.”

“This is insane.” Rizzi sighed.“RIZZI!” Mel shouted.

“You’re here! Charrie was about to lose it.” Mel said breathless after running up the

beach.“Gordon talked me around. Said the kids

needed a chance to meet their grandparents.” Rizzi shrugged, “But you’re helping us change

diapers.”

“We’ll all help out Rizzi” Charrie said hugging her younger sister tight.

“I’m sorry I’ve been such a brat.”“That’s what little sisters are for.” Charrie

laughed.

So I guess I should give you guys an explanation. Well I love Silver Bend. So

much that I didn’t want to play Laguna Isle at all. But I can’t abandon the NEW Pokémon Legacy. So I came up with a plan. I’d move

everybody to Silver Bend. I’m going to have negative CAS points for a little while. But with college so close I should make those up in no

time. I’ll be still adding simselves every rotation. Oh and Rizzi’s ten toddlers were totally by accident. She had a single birth, then they adopted a toddler, then she gave birth to trips and then quads. Then Gordon wanted one more. I had to grow up all the

babies to toddlers before I could extract them. See you guys soon with Pony Diem ->
