Location and Climate

•Most of the Cheyenne's lived in Montana others live in Oklahoma .•In the Summer it was like a hot desert.•In the Winter it was cold as the Mississipi.

Home Structure and Family Structure

•Some Cheyenne’s lived in lodges others lived in tepees.•The women were in charge of their homes. The men were out hunting for food.

Food

•Some of the Cheyenne’s food was buffalo crops and deer.•They hunted and killed buffalo on horse back. They gathered crops like squash , beans , and corn.

Clothing & Tools

•Their clothes were sometime made of animal skins like bears or buffalo.•Their tools were outstanding knives made from animal ribs shields made of animal hides and arrows.

Religious beliefs & communication

•The Cheyenne believed in many spirits and gods. The main god was named Heammawiho.•They sometimes spoke musical and Indian language.

Arts & Crafts

•The Cheyenne’s art are like Egyptian hieroglyphics they did painting on the rocks and other things.•They painted a picture of a warrior that succeeded a battle
