Computer Lab Etiquette

We got new computers this year!

Let’s take good care of them!

Always sit in your assigned seat.

Back against the chair

Feet on the floor.

Fingers on the home row.

Chair legs on the ground.

Stay on the wikipage!

You may not enter a username or password to complete an activity without permission from

Mrs. Murphy.

Keep your fingers, pens, and pencils off the screen.

Help your neighbor with your mouth not their mouse!

Your neighbor can’t help?….raise your hand and wait quietly for me!

Ask before you print!

Push in your chair, and clean up your area when you are done.

Changing backgrounds, altering computers, and unplugging equipment is unacceptable.

You are responsible for the computer assigned to you. Report any problems to the teacher within

the first 3 minutes of class.

Look for your seat number!

Plug in your headphones on the front of your computer!

Be sure to take care of your headphones and bag.

Zip your bag half way at the end of class.

Don’t wrap the cord around your headphones/earbuds to avoid knots.

Feel free to bring in your own headphones or earbuds from home…….
