Intended aim of the Project
is identification of the effect of chemical composition of wastewaters containing phosphate(V) ions and parameters of continuous reaction crystallization of struvite, on the product quality, its physical form, chemical composition and phase composition, as well as on the process kinetics: nucleation rate and linear crystal growth rate of the required component of the product – MAP.
Scientific aim of the Project:
Identification of physicochemical and kinetic basis
of a new technology for continuous recovery
of useful forms of phosphorus from mineral fertilizer
industry and animal breeding wastewaters.
Investigated process concerns chemical separation
of sparingly soluble phosphate(V) salt – struvite,
MAP, MgNH4PO4∙6H2O.
