DESCRIPTION:A standardized test is any form of test that (1)

requires all test takers to answer the same questions, or a selection of questions from common bank of questions, in the same way, and that (2) is scored in a “standard” or consistent manner, which makes it possible to compare the relative performance of individual students or groups of students. While different types of tests and assessments may be “standardized” in this way, the term is primarily associated with large-scale tests administered to sizeable populations of students, such as a multiple-choice test given to all the eighth-grade public-school students in a particular state.

GRADING SCHEME Seven Quizzes -marks given out of 5 Five Assignments -marks given out of 5 One Term Report - marks given of 10 Two Tests - marks given out of 15 One Final Exam - marks given out of 30 Grade should be calculated as per following policies: Quizzes: Total weight 15%, N-2, Average of remaining quizzes x 3, Rounded

to single decimal place Assignments: Total weight 15%, (Average of Top and Bottom) x 3, Rounded to

single decimal place Total Semester: Quizzes + Assignments + Term Report +Both Tests Total Score: Total Semester + Final Exam Insert a line at the bottom and calculate average score for each item i.e.
