Registration Process

Registration information forComputing at Coleraine students

1. Arrive at the University

2. Go to South Building

South Building

3. Go to LT1

You will be in LT1 forabout 30 minutes. During this time:

a) Your Course Director gives a short talk

b) Your Enrolment Form is:i. Given to the student

to check for accuracyii. Signed by student

c) Student returns Enrolment Form to Administrator together with:i. 2 passport sized photographsii. Certificates of recent examinationsiii. Passport, Driving Licence or Birth Certificate to prove Date

of Birth

d) Administrator checks Enrolment Formi. Qualificationsii. Date of Birth

You will be in the Computing Science

labs for about30 minutes.

4. You will be escorted to Block D – Computer Science labs

During this time you will be shown how to:

a) Access the School’s computer network (Very important)

b) Locate your class timetable

c) Locate other extremely useful University information.

You will be in the Main Buildingfor approximately one hour.

5. You will be escorted to the Main Building

During this time you will be shown how to:

a) Complete the online registration process in the Learning Resource Centre. (Very important)

b) Sort out the payment of your fees in The Diamond. (Very important)

Checklist

You need to bring:

a) 2 passport photos

b) Certificates from most recent examinations (e.g. A-Levels, BTECs, etc.)

c) Proof of Date of Birth (Passport, Driving Licence or Birth Certificate)
