The results from my questionnaire show that my target audience will be the majority females however it will still have to appeal to males too. However I had only given out 16 questionnaires so results may not be entirely reliable.

The majority of the results show that my target audience are from the ages of 16-18 so my magazine must appeal to this age group and further questionnaires I carry out must be within this age group to make my results valid.

Max Price for a Magazine:

The majority of the results had said that the maximum price for a magazine should be around £2.50 as that is the average between £2 and £3.50.

The results show that the majority of people don't actually read or buy music magazines, so my magazine has to appeal to an audience that doesn't normally read magazines. I should ask another question asking what people look for when they buy a magazine so I can be more specific. The next majority of people had said they read NME which means that I should follow a similar style and appeal to my magazine as NME does.

As many participants of my questionnaire had said that they don’t read any music magazines and many people show here that they only buy a music magazine a few times a year shows that there is a need in the market for a new type of magazine that will appeal to this audience.

My main audience will be a mixture of Pop, Indie, R&B and Drum & Base as I think the main audience of young teens don't limit themselves to one genre of music but many, so my music magazine will have many genres but will still somehow have to fit together without looking too “thrown together”.

This shows that the majority of people

voted that the font Black Casper is the best to use and the most appealing for a masthead font. I can also use the other fonts for cover lines.
