didnt wantto go below the age of 16because some of the contentI
wanted to add in the videowould be seen asinappropriate to those

with my choiceof wanting to aim my videoto 16 20 year olds but
stillhave elements that suit alarge demographic.

Personally my group and I wanted to doa music video based around
house music andknowing that our audience would like to seewhat we
envision for the house genre.This question allowed me to find out
how theaudience would like there video to be setwhether with a
story line or totally creative.The answers indicated that the
audienceprefer a narrative - following a story line.
3. Question 5 allowed me to findout what type of props,costumes
and characters Ineeded to include in the musicvideo.The answers
from theparticipants showed that Ishould include people
singing,strobe lighting and a partyscene.I will include a number of
theexpected elements but as agroup we decided to notinclude an
exact party scenedue to the fact we are aiming ittowards those
between the ageof 16 18 who may not be ofdrinking age and one
elementsof a party is alcohol.
4. I chose to ask thisquestion because mygroup wanted to
engagethe audience in as muchas possible. It isimportant to have
anactor in the music videothat the audience wouldconnect with. A
majorityof the questionnaireparticipants wherefemale and they felt
thathaving a female actorwould be best to use.Due to the fact that
theywould be able to relateto the female characterand enjoy the

5. Question 7Question 8When thinking about Housemusic videos
there vibes arebased on positivity and havingfun. A number of
ourparticipants selected Happy(58.42 %).Which we will take into
anaccount.By having a happy vibe it allowsus to have a more
enjoyablefilming day with the cast andcrew.
6. The question was used to find outif our audience would enjoy
mygroup creating a music video. Thepurpose of a music video
globallyis to show case a song. If themajority didnt watch
musicvideos every day we would haveto probably go back to
thedrawing board and consider otherprojects for our A2 course
worksuch as a short film.
