Lets the teacher identify and challenge students at the higher end of the

RIT continuum

Lets the teacher identify and support students

Guides the teacher’s choice of resources to

make sure they are appropriate for her student’s needs and

abilities

Guides the teacher’s lesson planning to

make sure that what needs to be taught gets
