Happy Naw-Rúz

(167 B.E.)

The well-being of mankind, its peace

and security, are unattainable unless and until its unity is firmly established

Women and men have been and will always be equal in the sight of God

The time has come when all mankind shall be united

Cleanse ye your eyes, so that ye behold no man as different from yourselves

Possess a pure, kindly and radiant heart

Let deeds, not

words, be your

adorning

Let your vision be world-embracing, rather than confined to your own self.

Let each morn be better than its eve and each morrow

richer than Its yesterday

Truthfulness is the foundation of all human

virtues

That one indeed is a man who, today,

dedicateth himself to the service of the entire human race.

All mankind are the fruits of one tree, flowers of

the same garden, waves of

one sea

The peoples of the world, of whatever race or religion, drive their inspiration from one heavenly

Source, and are the subjects of one God

So powerful is the light of unity that it can illuminate the whole earth

If we are not happy and joyous at this season, for what other season shall we wait and for

what other time shall we look?

“My object is none other than the betterment Of the world and the tranquility of its peoples”
