WELCOMEWelcome to a tribute to
mothers. Today we come to celebrate our mothers and
those in our lives who love and nurture us and others.
Mothers are God’s special people who deserve our great love, honour and admiration.
Mothers are our greatest strength and our greatest
comfort.

All mothers and those who are like mothers stand in
their places so that we can pray a special blessing.
Father: Loving God, pour out your abundant grace
and blessings upon these women who mother and care for their
children.
May each of them be strengthened according to their
need and rejoice in your love and peace.

Father: Let us pray.
As we proclaim Mary to be mother of the Church and our mother, may our communion with Jesus her son bring us
