A mixed ability class is one with students of varying abilities. This presents a number of
problems and issues.
Presenting tasks which all students are able to complete – Make use of predominantly open-ended tasks. Learners brainstorm their ideas
and contribute what they know.
The class comprises of wide range of different levels – Attempt group tasks. Divide students
into mixed-ability groups so that students help each other and share ideas.
