*1932-1973

*Revolution of June 24, 1932-Phibun was one of the organizers

* 1934-Phibun was appointed to be the minister of defence

* 1944- Changes of the ruler (Phibun- Pridi)

*An army coup d'etat in 1947 was followed by Phibun's return as prime minister the following year.

*1957- open elections (General Sarit Thanarat overthrew Phibun)

*Student Protest Against Military (1973)

*1973, there was a students’ movement reacted over military dictatorship

*October 13, 1973, people gathered in protest in Bangkok :criticisms for a more democratic constitution and genuine elections against the military government.

*Due to the unrest movement, the Thai’s military opened fire on October 14 to the demonstrators, killing seventy-five which is most of them were students, and they also occupied the campus of Thammasat University.
