Lines Lines are a straight set of points that

extend (stretch) in opposite directions. Lines are everywhere!

Rays A ray is part of a

line that starts at an end point and extends in the opposite direction.

Segments A segment is part

of a line that starts and ends between two endpoints.

Parallel Lines Parallel lines are

two or more lines beside each other that never intersect.

Perpendicular Lines Perpendicular lines

are lines that intersect at square corners.

Intersecting Lines Intersecting lines

meet at a common point.
