WHAT IS EASTER WEEK ?

Easter week is a tradition in Cuenca

and it is celebrated in March or April .

We participate in processions dressed as

Nazarenes all with a similar costume.

BASIC WORDS

Processions : The processions are formed by a group of

people that accompany different saints around the city.

Banceros : The banceros are the men who carry the saints

in the processions.
