#1Characters:Parent, older sibling, younger sibling, tour guide

Plot:A family is on vacation to see the San Andreas Fault in California. The family has a lot of questions for the tour guide.

#2Characters:Photographer, Fan #1, Fan #1, Critic

Plot:A photographer exhibits photographs of erupting volcanoes, and his fans and critic discuss the change to the scenery.

#3Characters:Four friends

Plot:A group of friends talk about whether they would rather live near a volcano or on an active fault line.

#4Characters:Journalist #1, Scientist, Caller #1, Caller #2

Plot:A journalist interviews a scientist about what caused the tsunami in Japan. People call in to ask questions.

#5Characters:Police officer, survivor #1, survivor #2, Red Cross worker

Plot:One week after a giant earthquake, an officer and Red Cross worker talk to survivors about the continuing effects.

#6Characters:Teacher, 3 students

Plot:A teacher and students talk about how to prepare for volcanoes and earthquakes in order to minimize the damage.

#7Characters:Pompeiian, Pliny, Volcanologist, Historian

Plot:A historian finds a way to talk to the dead! He holds a conversation between Pliny, a volcanologist, and a Pompeiian who did not escape.

Form Groups• 4 members per group

Pick Scenario• Every group gets a different scenario!

Write! Your scenario must:• Every member must write• Every member must speak• At least 3 lines per person• The skit does not need to be memorized.• Hand in a copy of your skit. Include your names.
