Brief Description
Deforestation = The simple meaning of deforestation is reckless cutting down of forests .
Now a days the deforestation is increasing rapidly day by day due to the increase in demand of wood from all over the world. There are many reasons for this cause. To find the reasons behind deforestation and to know about the solutions of deforestation our group named N.A.T.I has done a survey to know people opinion to know about deforestation from around the world.This presentation is to display the result of our survey.

•An estimated 18 million acres (7.3 million hectares) of forest, which is roughly the size of the country of Panama, are lost each year, according to the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).•About half of the world's tropical forests have been cleared (FAO)•Forests currently cover about 30 percent of the world’s land mass (National Geographic)•Forest loss contributes between 6 percent and 12 percent of annual global •carbon dioxide emissions (Nature Geoscience)•About 36 football fields worth of trees lost every minute (World Wildlife Fund (WWF))•Brazil and Indonesia are the most effected countries.
ConclusionThe summary of this survey according to the public from all over the world but especially from Pakistan is that :• Over population is the biggest factor for deforestation and then comes
urbanization and etc.• Pollution is the biggest effect of deforestation and then comes flooding and etc.• Precautions to control deforestation, the forest management departments are
first priority of the people and then comes other.• When people were asked to think there life without forest they simply rejected
this idea as it is the basic need of everyone.• The most number of people said that the rate of deforestation in their country is
non-reliable.
NOTE = So it is the time for policy makers to sit and think seriously about this issue. New plans and strategies have to be made to overcome this problem according to this public survey.
