From Zhenghua Primary School to Kampung Sinaran Baru, JB, Malaysia

Attire: School t-shirt & long pants / track pants / jeans

(strictly no leggings for girls)
Students will be transported to Kampung Sinaran Baru by bus via Tuas Link.

Reminders
If your child is not feeling well in the morning before
departure, please let your child stay at home.
We will depart at 6.30 am sharp.
Check that your child bring all the necessary items especially the
passport.
Get enough rest and drink lots of water before the trip.

1 DAY CULTURAL IMMERSION TRIP TO JOHOR BAHRU
Day 01: SINGAPORE-JOHOR-SINGAPORE (Breakfast & Lunch)
Monday, 9th September 2019
0600hrs - Assemble at Zhenghua Primary School
0630hrs - Depart by A/c Deluxe Coach for Singapore/Malaysia customs
and immigration formalities via Tuas 2nd link
0800hrs - After customs & immigration clearance, meet our tour guides.
0830hrs - Depart to Kampung Sinaran Baru
0930hrs - Arrive at Kampung Sinaran Baru where students can
experience the simplistic kampung lifestyle. Activities include:-
Understanding a traditional Malay house and the costumes
Visit rubber holding and brief on its history and tapping of rubber
Visit a small farm to see various tropical crops such as mulberry
shrubs, tapioca and sugar cane (Students get to plant tapioca)
Pineapple cultivation
Paddy growing (it is a very small plot)
Brief on the growing of mushroom
Feeding of fishes
Batik painting
Playing of traditional musical instrument such as the kompang
Making of kuih bahulu without using oven
Making of popsicles without using a fridge (The science concept
behind the freezing point)
Tops spinning and chapteh
1200hrs - Lunch at kampung
1330hrs - Continue programme at kampung sinaran baru
1500hrs - Depart back to Singapore
1545hrs - Estimated arrival at Tuas Checkpoint
1730hrs - Estimated arrival at Zhenghua Primary School
