Revision guide information

There will be four exams in Spanish:

Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.

Each exam is worth 25% of the final mark.

The three themes covered are:-

Theme 1 - Identity and Culture

Theme 2 - Local, national, international and global areas of

interest

Theme 3 - Current and future study and employment

This revision booklet has been put together to help you practice the

reading and writing sections of the exam. The activities cover ten

different topics across the three themes.

You can also use the Memrise website to practice vocabulary along with

your GCSE vocabulary booklet.

You all have a log in for Active Learn which has a wide range of tasks

covering all topics and all skills. It may be a good idea to focus on listening

skills on Active Learn.

The speaking exam will comprise of three parts – role play, photo card

and general conversation. You should have prepared at least one theme

for the general conversation which you will need to learn in preparation

for the mock.

All three themes need to be completed before the real exam.
