On Sunday, Oct. 26th, the three and four-year-old stu-
dents in CCD carved pumpkins with the help of their
teachers and parents! Everyone had a great time!
Server Retraining! On Nov. 13 at 7 pm and Nov. 15 at 11 am, we will be holding re-
training sessions for current servers. We are asking that all current
servers, regardless of age, attend one of these two sessions. Each
session should last about an hour. There are some minor changes
happening for servers, so it is imperative that they come. If you have
any questions, contact Fr. Dan Bedel. Thanks and God bless!

The World Prays For Peace
In cathedral, synagogue, mosque, and temple
with loud voice or silent thought
some complex, some simple,
the world prays for peace.
Some kneel, some lay prostrate, some sway in trance.
Some beg, some cry, some just say “why?”, some sing,
some chant, some dance.
The world just prays for peace.
With colors flying in the air, incense blowing,
candles glowing, in vestments, costume, with flowers fair,
bells ringing, choirs singing.
The world just prays for peace.
In country wood, city street, river wide,
in fields and valleys, on the ocean, in the sky,
in jungle heat and desert bleak.
The world just prays for peace.
In buildings and all the places where we buy and sell
with TV, cell phone, internet, microwave, traffic jam as we
move about hoping all is well.
The world just prays for peace.
At my bedside in the deep of the night I take my fear inside
to
the chapel in my heart where my lord abides
and there I pray for the world that prays for peace.

discussion, and we invite you to read/watch it before coming. Questions and curiosity are welcome, but the only thing you have to bring is a healthy appetite! Also, we welcome both singles and parents, and hope to have babysitters available

As fall sets in, the following items are in short sup-ply for the pantry: peanut butter, cereal, tuna and helpers, pasta, sauce, and dried beans. We also need size 5 diapers and baby wipes. Thank you to everyone who helps make this pantry work, its
much appreciated! The pantry is experiencing an increase in numbers of patrons in the last sev-eral months, therefore, there is an increased
need for food. If you could bring in an extra can or two of food for the pantry and place it in the usher’s closet, it would be very much appreci-
ated.
If you know any parishioners who are hospital bound or
moved into a nursing home, please contact the parish office at 241-6314. The priests and volun-teers like to keep up with weekly
