Hi! My name is Anna Kerbo. I am a designer and artist from Saint-Petersburg,

Russia.

WHITE MONKEY is my pseudonym and also the name of brand i’ve founded in

late 2014. As WHITE MONKEY i create conceptual jewelry and accessories of

wood, veneer and silver. Now the brand is well-known enough in the local com-

munity of art, design and fashion and has a lot of devoted admirers.

WHITE MONKEY is a true modern art of jewelry. With my works i am trying to

find and show the new threads and manifestations of that phenomen and also to

pay a tribute to world’s geniuses of abstract art that are the masters and inspir-

ers for me.

Each product of WHITE MONKEY is manufactured by my hands. The unique

complex technology is my secret ingredient and my proud. I will tell you more

about that in nearest five minutes.

Each product by WHITE MONKEY is made with use of precious materials such different sorts of solid wood and veneer, silver, natural oils and waxes.

The base of all accessories is made on solid wood. I create the form, then grind, saturate it with oils and finally polish it with natural wax. The base becomes smooth and water-resistive.

The showiest part of each acces-sory is a mosaic tarsia, assembled with small strips and pieces of veneer that are sorted by tint and closely adjusted.

transparent cover that makes it

more bright, protects from sun and

moisture.

The “MAGIC FOREST” series

In most cases i create entire series of accessories that are united with similar geometry and color palette and can be easily combined.

The “KALINA KRASNAYA” series

I design abstract motifs by myself or find a piece of inspiration in works of beautiful artists, well-known geniuses or contemporary unknown masters. The geometrical shapes and color palette can often offer the fresh idea for jewelry art.

“The Kiss” by Gustav Klimt inspired me to create the accesso-ry series called “GUSTAV”. It combines geometric and color treatments that are characteristic features of Klimt’s art.

The “GUSTAV” series was partly presented on Mer-cedes-Benz fashion week Russia in October of 2015 (Korsakov Atelier fashion show).

Each accessory by WHITE MONKEY is a true wearable art object, 80% of goods are properly unique.

“Matryoshka” - is a russian traditional toy, one of the na-tional symbols. I offer the new vision for traditional values.
