UPDATE for WESTWOOD AVENUE,ELM WAY, WEST PARK HILL,WESTWAY & MANOR WAY

Printed, published + promoted by L D Price, 67 Junction Road, Brentwood, CM14 5JH on behalf of Brentwood West Liberal Democrats & k l Chilvers

Dear Resident(s)

When I called to speak to you a few days ago, manyof you raised the issue of the planter at the junctionof Westwood Avenue/West Park Hill.

I have been dealing with this for some time and didget it planted a couple of years ago. Sadly, the planterwas then found to be infected with bindweed so it has had to betreated. It looks like this has worked and the plan is to plant it inAutumn with low maintenance planting.

Obviously, the gasworks are preventing anything being done at themoment but once this is done, attention can be turned toimprovements. I have also reported the potholes along the street andthis will also be done following the completion of works.

Tree lining of Westwood Avenue was also mentioned. I know thatsome residents are in favour and some not, so I have requested that

a formal consultation take place amongst residents.

Of course, I can only continue with this work if I amre-elected as your councillor on Thursday 5th May soI hope I can count on your vote!
