Be it resolved that:

The annual membership fee for individual memberships in MURA, for

those individuals not subject to an agreement between MURA and a

staff association or union, for the year beginning

September 1, 2020, shall be Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00).

Note 1 In the current COVID-19 world it is impossible to know how MURA

activities and events will play out for the coming year. We have shown

here, substantially reduced values considering most if not all activities

will be virtual.

Note 2 The May 2021 CURAC Conference at McGill has been cancelled. A

budget is shown here as a place holder, in the context of a possible

virtual activity.

Note 3 The CURAC 2020 Conference in Vancouver has been cancelled.

Therefore we show no travel expenses for 2020-2021.

Note 4 Office Expenses are reduced to reflect the virtual world of activities in

the context of COVID 19.

Note 5 A temporary increase in Contingency given the uncertainty of the

current COVID 19 world.

Workday is a web-based, cloud-secure platform replacing Banner HRIS, Minerva, POPS, &

other HR apps

- Refer to emails sent to your McGill email account on July 27 and 29 informing you about

R2R, Workday and training modules. You will use Workday, no longer Minerva, to access,

review and update your personal data, beneficiary information, tax documents, etc.

McGill Communities Council

• Formed in early 2013 following the campus events of November 2011,

and on the basis of a recommendation in the March 2012 MAUT Report

on Governance, Protest and Security.

• Initially called the McGill Citizens’ Council

• Comprises representatives of all campus employee and student groups,

except higher administration

• Goals

❑ foster open communication among all groups

❑ consider issues that affect some or all in the university community

(E.g. collective bargaining, health and safety, central administration’s

response to COVID-19, racism on and off campus)

• Meets monthly (weekly and virtually during pandemic)
