NEW DELHI, July 10:

The CBI has registered threeseparate cases of banking fraudagainst three Mumbai-basedcompanies for an alleged bank-ing fraud that caused a cumula-tive loss of over Rs 136 crore toState Bank of India, officialssaid here today.

One of the cases is againstTop Worth Pipes and TubesPvt. Ltd, its Directors AbhayNarendra Lodha, ShishirShivaji Hiray, HarshrajShantilal Bagmar, the then SBIofficials AGMThyagarajuInamanamelluri,Deputy Manager Vilas NarharAhirrao, Deputy Manager,Madhura Mangesh Sawant forallegedly causing a loss of

56.81 crore to the bank, theofficials said.

The second case was regis-tered against MaheepMarketing Pvt. Ltd, itsDirectors Gajendra Sandim,Hemant Sanghvi and the threeSBI officials for allegedlycausing loss of Rs 49.99 crore,they said.

The third case is againstHarsh Steel Trade Pvt Ltd andits Directors Chetan JitendraMehta and MahadevRamchandra Shringare, the thenofficials of the SBI, AGMJagdish Kulkarni and DeputyManager Sadanand Girkar forallegedly causing loss of Rs30.13 crore.(PTI)
