Lion President Zoey
Finally summer!Hello Lions Welcome toJune. As we reflect onthe sadness of this pastmonth and theunfortunate situation allservice clubs have foundthemselves in we mustremember why we areLions. We love ourcommunity and want toServe our community to the best of our abilities tomake it a more enjoyable and safer place. We cannotlet the recent setbacks affect our goal. Bob wouldn'twant us to mope around, he would want us to keepstriving for new ideas and ways to make ourcommunity better.
I will miss Bob as we had become good friends and Irespected his work ethic and ability to be fluid inmany situations. I will try to embody his amazingcharacteristics as I lead our group for this next year. Ihave many ideas to bring to the table about how toproceed this year. We need to motivate and give ourcommunity something to look forward too. As Lions itis the least we can do.I am in the midst of trying to figure out a way for us tomeet without the use of computers as I realize it isn'teveryone's forte. Please don't hesitate to call oremail me as we are all in this together.

EVENTS FOR THIS MONTH
You will likely receive a phonecall or email to tell you whenthis meeting will take place.Topics of discussion:
We will attempt to organize ameeting where we will all cometogether to plan our future.
Wherever that is there shouldbe enough room so wecan sit 6 feet apart.
Breakfasts - take away pancake breakfast?? Thoughts
Elimination draw - No dinner, virtual andtelevised, will need max 5 volunteers
HOCKEY DRAWWe still have 4 gamesremaining in the HockeyDraw without games todetermine winners. TheNHL has cancelled theseason.
I will then need to determine the losers and ata later date get someone to draw the 5 losers.
Games 18, 19 and 20 will follow the sameprocedure - One volunteer will pull all tickets.
The fairest way to do thisis to draw the winnersfrom a group of 64 numbers.
Game 17 - Draw 3 tickets - 1st, 2nd, 3rdperiods then return the tickets to the drawcontainer.
Sanitizer will be provided so the drawvolunteers can clean up after.
