Authority Control Project Major project for FY11 INFOhio GAB approved MARCIVE contract
Backfile processing to get new/updated authority records for records currently in CRC
CRC bib records will be authorized and enhanced with updated Reading Program Notes (Accelerated Reader, Lexile, Reading Counts).
Annual contract for on-going authority control updates for new records added to CRC
Authority Control Project New authority records will replace old outdated
authorities in every instance statewide. Will implement procedures for on-going authority
control so all instances receive new/updated authority records periodically throughout the year for authority changes that may occur.
Additional authority control processes in JWF will eventually be implemented for local catalogs.
