SYNOPSIS

Maggie moves back to her hometown after one of her children dies in a car

accident. Not even Patrick, her old flame, can wrench her away from the

grip of her broken heart.Trying to move on with her life,

Maggie decides to travel to a refugee camp after hearing desperate stories

of the plight that is facing women.

At least 42 million people in the world (and counting because of the recent conflicts in the Middle East)— more

than the entire population of Canada or the whole Scandinavia all together — have been forced to run for their lives, and are either temporarily or

permanently exiled from their homes. Half of them are women and children.

Many live in refugee camps, fleeing persecution, armed conflicts, murder,

rape and mutilation. Being in a refugee camp doesn't mean they're finally safe. It doesn't mean they're

sure to be fed. It means their odds are better. Maybe.

HOW WE (the producers of “Two people”) ARE GOING TO HELP THE

REFUGEES

 - Donate 5% of total net profits from “Two People” towards charities

helping the refugees.

- Make a documentary while in a refugee camp, which will be used by various charities helping

the refugees.

- Co-ordinate cross-media benefits (including documentary, photography, inspirational talking etc.) to broaden

overall awareness of the refugees situation.

- Make 7 shorts concerning women rights.
