VX One Tuning Guide

Mast Setup

STEP POSITION

Pin 3rd hole from aft end - Make sure you are in compliance with class rule: C,9.5

Use a PT1 Loos tension Gauge to check tensions on the Cap shrouds and intermediates

TO DETERMINE THE CHECKSTAY SETTING:

Measure 2’ up the intermediate, then over to the check at 90deg to the intermediate. Check how far away 1 finger pressure can pull the check and then how close. This difference is the measurement of slack in the intermediate. See pictures below:
