Requirements for Spring 2020

• Attend 3 appointments each semester

• Attend 2 events such as Workshops, Campus Visits and Cultural Events YOU MUST complete these before the final day of the Fall semester to remain in good standing with the TRIO SSS Program and retain your priority registration benefits. There will be no Walk-Ins during the month of January due to Claudia and Carolina working on the TRIO Grant. If you need to meet with a

Counselor during this month you may go to General Counseling and we will count your appointment towards your semester contacts. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause. Walk-Ins will begin the month of

February.

FAFSA Application is available starting October 1st If you make an appointment or attend a workshop

please bring your 2018 tax information and your FSA ID

MJC Scholarship Application will be available October 1st To qualify for scholarship consideration students must meet the minimum

criteria: -Have a declared major -Have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher by the end of the Fall 2019 semester (most scholarships will require that your GPA be 3.0 or higher) -Have at least 12 units completed by the end of the Fall 2019 semester -Be actively enrolled in classes at Modesto Junior College Fall 2019 -Submit a complete scholarship application by January 31, 2020 adhering to the instructions as stated on the application MJC Scholarship Link
