Together We Rise. Alone We Fall.

Our Mission RISE TOGETHER is about being a face of recovery through ADVOCATING,

EDUCATING, and bringing a VOICE to the voiceless

Our Vision

To create a community where youth are HEARD, LOVED, and inspired to LIVE in HOPE

About to celebrate our 2 years of helping to save lives…..

Our success continues… • Educating • Positive message • Motivating • Inspiring

• Making it cool to live a drug free lifestyle

• We have educated over 70,000 people in the Wisconsin and this is just the beginning

• We have partnered with over 150 schools across the Midwest!

• 92% of the students liked our presentation and a majority claimed they are less likely to get involved with drugs following our RISE TOGETHER presentation!

Getting through to the students • By being seen as their peer or

looking up to us as their “idols” rather than an authority figure giving out information

What are the students telling us?

Having a pulse on our community…

Surveyed over 3,400 students this year

• 1 in 2 Wisconsin students surveyed who’ve experimented with risky substances continue active use, putting them at risk of developing a substance use disorder

• Students identify need for more school prevention, intervention and education strategies to combat drug epidemic in Wisconsin

• Most students use for the first time out of curiosity or because their friends use.

• Substance use and abuse is a multi-faceted issue. Students cite high stress and challenges with self-esteem as major detriments to health and well being

• Despite health risk, a majority of students don’t see use of risky substances as a significant problem

This leaves us for more room to work with students on… • More recovery mentors • Anonymous hotlines • Proper assessments • Treatment options

• Rise Together reveals 1 in 2 students in Wisconsin who’ve experimented with risky substances such as illicit drugs, alcohol and tobacco are active users at risk of developing a substance use disorder.

• Survey data of over 3,000 Wisconsin

middle and high school students conducted over the 2014-15 school year further showed widespread support among students for increased access to school-based solutions to address substance abuse in Wisconsin communities.
