My favorite part about the BSE program is the opportunity to meet amazing people. From this program, I have made friendships that would not have been possible in a larger engineering major.

When I returned [from my internship], I was interested in pursuing beer science, and began researching and attending classes related to fermentation…I am thankful that the knowledge and experience from being in the paper industry has transferred over in my studies today. I am currently a lab manager for a local Seattle brewery where I focus on quality control and improvement projects, and so far, it has turned out to be a dream job.
