TheHeder Gallery

TheHeder Contemporary Art Gallery, located in the center of Tel Aviv, was established in the year 2000 as part of a Unique venue which combines a Contemporary art gallery along side anArchitectural and interior design office.

The elegant yet intimate space, was designed bythe three architects who established the concept. Since its inception, the gallery has exhibited theworks of both Israeli And international artists, working in diverse media such as sculpture, painting, photography, video and performance.

Neta Gal Atzmon is the gallery curator and director from September 2010. The focus of the gallery is to show and promote the work of its artists both in Israel and abroad. The gallery provides its artists a meeting point, a link to key-figures In the art scene and tries to find new cooperations and opportunities for them to exhibit.

Apart from the aim to expose the gallery artists to local and international Audience, the gallery endeavors to create a challenging programmewith qualified and inspiring exhibitions and Cultural events.

We wish to create a line of exhibitions that are linked to the local dialogue and yet have a unique and personal distinctive language.

The gallery leads a line, which incorporates, between the commercial aspects of contemporary art to socio-political projects that wants to combine between the desire toinfluence and change, and the attempt to grant a moment of peace in the complex Israeli reality.
