The Parts Standardization and Management Committee (PSMC) is a DoD sponsored committee that provides a forum to influence and support Parts Management and standardization through commonality of parts and processes.
The PSMC is chartered by the Defense Standardization Program Office (DSPO).

PSMC Goals Advise DSPO in the development of
Parts Management & standardization policy, procedures, and guidance
Provide a forum for shaping and harmonizing DoD Parts Management and standardization
Support Parts Management reengineering initiatives
Exchange Parts Management information and best practices
Facilitate DoD and industry communication
Identify Parts Management issues Collaborate with groups
with related missions

PSMC Meetings
The PSMC meets face-to-face twice yearly Spring and Fall meetings include
Presentations on subjects of interest to Parts Management
Working subcommittee sessions on Parts Management documents and products
Subcommittee web conferences are held as required to continue progress on document and product development
