BIOGRAPHY: Henry M. Sobell completed his studies at Brooklyn Technical High School (1948-1952),
Columbia College (1952-1956), and the University of Virginia School of Medicine (1956-
1960). Instead of practicing clinical edicine, he then went to the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology (MIT) to join Professor Alexander Rich in the Departent of Biology (1960-
1965), where, as a Helen Hay Whitney Postdoctoral Fellow, he learned the technique of
single crystal X-ray analysis. He then joined the Chemistry Department at the University
of Rochester, having been subsequently jointly appointed to both the Chemistry and
Molecular Biophysics departments (the latter at the University of Rochester School of
Medicine and Dentistry), becoming a full tenured Professor in both departments (1965-
1993). He is now retired and living in the Adirondacks in New York, USA.

Berlin in 2014 and her Master´s degree in animal ecology from Georg-August-

CSO of CompanDX UK Ltd. He is Associate Director the John Van Geest Cancer Research Centre and biostatistics lead on three clinical projects. He has
been involved in the development and validation of machine learning algorithms
based on Artificial Neural Networks for the last 18 years. He has 145 journal papers and 5 patents in this area. After a PhD (UN funded) and a Post Doc
modelling environmental interactions with ANNs at NTU, in 2000 he shifted the
focus of his analysis to proteomic and transcriptomic data; searching for proteins and genes associated with cancer. His current research interests are directed at the
use of machine learning techniques for the identification of biomarker panels,
pathway motifs and molecular drivers characterizing biological systems These include areas such as microbial pathogen host response, drivers and
characteristics of hallmarks of cancer, drivers of Alzheimer’s disease and
diagnostics of latent tuberculosis.

Pacint Moez is a Professor of Clinical Pathology AFM .She was awarded FP7 & many
national grants for Proteomics research. She is the director of AFM Proteomics lab & head
of Egypt Proteomic Science Association. She supervised many master & MD proteomics
thesis in Egypt and with International collaborators as well .She has organised many
workshops & participated in national & international proteomics conferences. Her main aim
is to introduce Proteomics science to Egyptian scientific community & to cooperate &
network with different international proteomics groups. She has published more than 22
papers in reputed journals.

Biography: Sudarshan Kumar is working as scientist at National Dairy Research Institute Karnal,
India. He works on Mammary Gland Proteomics to identify the putative biomarkers for lactation related disorders in bovine. His lab uses high end nano-LC MS/MS TOF
platform and TQD for protein biomarker discovery and validation. The economically
important genes are cloned, expressed and purified from prokaryotic and eukaryotic host systems which are subjected to cell culture based functional characterization for
their application as therapeutics or diagnostics.
Biography: Ashish Shah is working in the area of insilico drug designing and synthetic medicinal
chemistry since last five years. He is pursuing research in the field of new molecule development for cancer disease since last three years. He has also published review as
well as research article relevant to his expertise. He has also presented poster on
insilico drug design in various national and international conferences.
Biography: Ajey Kumar Pathak has completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information
Technology from Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture and Technology, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India and postdgraduate studies in Computer Science from
Madan Mohan Malviya Engneering College Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Apart
from these academics, he is post graduate in Physics from Avadh University, Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. Presently, he is Senior Scientist at ICAR-National
Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India, a premier Fish
Genetic Resources institute under the aegis of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, India. He has published more than 30 papers in reputed journals and has
been serving as an editorial board member of repute.
