WELCOME TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NATURE
Teton Science Schools are offering over 100 courses this year. Educational fun is shared across six program areas and two campuses. The diversity of teaching faculty and research staff within various disciplines has led to an organization which more closely resembles a university than a traditional nature center.
Teton Science Schools are the University of Nature. We offer learning adventures to school groups, families, teachers, and graduate students. The National Science Foundation Advisory Committee for Environmental Research and Education recently published a report which concluded that education and research are not progressing at the pace required by the magnitude of the environmental challenges facing this nation. This report called for new participatory approaches to environmental education. Who better to lead this interdisciplinary challenge than the University of Nature.
Join us in the Tetons for some serious fun!
