Teaching in the Digital Age advanced practice certificates offers

fundamental knowledge and skills to teach curricula in schools

and other applied settings.

All certificate credits can be used towards a post professional

doctoral degree in occupational therapy at Thomas Jefferson

University. Each certificate consists of four graduate-level

courses that total 12 credits and can be completed part-time

over 10 -16 months. All certificates are 100% online.

Live video chat and synchronous web sessions, discussion boards, audio-narrated presentations, VoiceThread (interactive video tool)

Regular faculty contact

Video advising and mentoring via Zoom and other platforms, phone, and face-to-face meetings.

Students receive formative feedback to brainstorm ideas as well as formal assessment of their assignments.

Opportunity to Come to Campus and Meet Faculty

Optional – by attending twice yearly community meetings or stopping by for a pre-arranged visit when in the Philadelphia area
