The Design

¤  ‘The Tea Garden’ is a range of floral scented teas; chamomile, rose and red blossom.

¤  As it is a brand that produces floral scented teas I have used leafy and floral elements in the logo and packaging. I wanted this brand remind the customer of things such as, fresh flowers, delicateness, ladylike lace and high tea parties.

¤  The typography chosen for the logo design is a script typeface. The type reflects the brands style of softness and elegance with the use of flourishes and the large, decorative capital letters.

¤  The colour used on the inner box of packaging corresponds to the colour of the tea scent. This is to help easy distinction between each flavor.

¤  The boxes are made from bamboo cardboard. It’s a sustainable material as it’s stronger than normal cardboard and offers more protection, reduces waste as it is an organic material and bamboo grows much faster than trees used for cardboard so it is more easily renewable.
