    Goldilocksis a popular folktale. Do you know its name in Spanish? Do you

    know the name of other tales? Look for their names in an English dictionary.

    5. Think and answer:

    Are folktales oral or written literature?

    A folktale, meaning a story from the oral tradition can be a fairy tale, hero

    tale, humorous tale, tall tale, wisdom tale, animal story or fable, love story,

    ghost story, myth, or legend.

    6. Go to page 93 exercise 6 in your students book. Is the legend of

    Kings Arthur a written story or a piece of oral literature?
