More than 17,000South Carolina associates, in-cluding more than 2,400 inCharleston area stores, will re-ceive bonuses. The bonuses,along with an annual pay raise,were included in their March 9paychecks.

Walmart associates can earnquarterly bonuses based on theperformance of their store.Workers in the Charleston areawill share more than $3.4 millionin South Carolina cash bonuses.The bonuses come on the heelsof Walmart U.S. recording itsstrongest comp sales perform-ance of the year, a 1.8% increasein the fourth quarter.
