DearSpiritofPeaceChurchFamily:MaythepeaceoftheLordbewithyou!Pleasewelcomeournewfamilymembers:TheShryrocks;TheFruelings;BobMock,andTheTaylors!ItiswithgreatjoytohavethemjoinushereatSpiritofPeace!Whilethesummertimeseemsslow,thereismuchgoingoninthebackgroundtogetrampedupforthefall.Itismyhopethatwewillstarttheschoolyearoffwithabang!TheChristianEducationteamisworkinghardtolookatcurriculumthatwillbethebestwellservedforourSundaySchoolclasses.ItisourgoaltohaveaviableandintentionalSundaySchoolforallages–includingadults.OtherpossibilitiesareaWednesdayeveningFamilynight.RallyDay(BacktoChurchSunday)willbeSunday,September10th!TheStewardshipTeamiscarefullydiscerninghowwecanhaveapowerfulandimpactfulStewardshipcampaignthisfall.StewardshipisaboutlookingatallthatGodhasgivenusandhowwewillrespondgenerouslytoGod’sblessings.Whileweshouldalwaysthinkabouttheblessingswehavebeengiven,theseasonofstewardshipistointentionallythinkabouthowwewillgivebacktoGodourtime,talents,andmoney.TheMarketingTeamwillbegininAugustwithour“GotPeace”Campaign.LookforourdigitalsignonthebillboardonHWY17!Also,theteamiscreatingabrochuretogivetovisitorsandforhandingouttoourneighbors.TheReformationTeamisbeginningtoplanforour500-yearanniversaryonOctober29th.Thisteamislookingformusicianstoaccompanytheworshipservice,specialspeakersforSundaymorningpriortoworship,andanyotherideasthatwillmakethisdaymemorable.ThesearejustafewthingsthatarehappeninghereatSpiritofPeace.Pleasecheckouronlinecalendaronthewebsiteforupdates.Also,knowthateacheveryoneofyouareinvitedtoparticipateintheministrieshereatSpiritofPeace!Comejoinus!Blessingsoneachofyourdaysandforasafeandfunsummer!
