• Opportunity Class Information for Year 5 2021
PRINCIPAL’S REPORT
Kindergarten Enrolments We are currently taking enrolments of children who are starting Kindergarten in 2021. If you have a child who is 5 or turning 5
before July next year please contact our office for the necessary information. If you know of any families within our school ‘zone’ who are yet to enrol their child, please urge them to do so as this will help us plan and prepare for transition activities that will take place in Term 4. Information on this program will be sent to parents and communicated via the school newsletter
and Facebook in Term 3. Opportunity Class Applications The application process for Year 5 opportunity class placement for entry in 2021 is about to begin. Important dates in the application process are as follows: Tuesday 9 June 2020: Online applications open Friday 26 June 2020: Online applications close (Parents and carers must apply by the due date.) National Consistent Collection of Data The NCCD is about to commence. It is a collection that counts: the number of school students receiving an adjustment or ‘help’ due to disability and the level of adjustment they are receiving to access education on the same basis as other students. Data is collected within each school. Personal details, such as student names or student identifiers, are not provided to federal education authorities. Further information about the data collection can be found on the Australian Government Department of Education website: http://education.gov.au/nationally-consistent-collection-data-school-students-disability PRINCIPALS RECOGNITION Thank you to Mrs Wade and the Facebook team for working hard to keep us all connected.
Working together as partners in the education of your child.
