HOW WE GAIN STUDENT INTEREST IN ENGINEERING

We utilize several strategies to recruit and maintain students in engineering.

Over the 2009 -2010 School year, we participated in many activities that raised the community awareness of:

“Who We Are”and

“What We Do”

SCHOOL VISITS•Middle and Elementary students see older students in a career path they may choose to follow. •The students describe their personal reflections dealing with engineering and the many competitions and accomplishments they’ve had within this field. •One-on-one interaction with teachers and students•Share upcoming events•Disseminate information•Students know what to take 9th grade year
