The Tennessee Junior Classical League is not just fun-loving and

artistic, but also enthusiastic and well-spoken. Tennessee

delegates are frequent-ly seen on the Nation-al Convention stage, whether it is at That’s Entertainment or Gener-

al Assembly. During the year there have contests

involving catapaults, art, and of course, Certamen.

Massachusetts starts their year off right with Catapault Day (pictured left), and con-tinues to go strong from there. Boston Latin School students, present and past, dazzle the photographer with their smiles at Et Tu, DJ?, MA’s annual semi-formal dance. Pie-ing at convention, hosting Certmaen tourna-ments, and throwing an inmpressive state shindig are all yearly MA events!

Forum

VirginiaJCL

This year, the LJCL Executive Board revived an old LJCL tradition of holding a Chapter Officers Forum where officers from around the state of Louisiana meet and discuss how to run a local chapter and how to prepare for state convention in the spring with the State Officers. Additional-ly, they held a Fall Forum, state convention, and a Latin Tailgate between schools.

Florida has a unique bond as a state, with a National Officer as the Communications COordina-tor and an incredible passion for the classics. Their enthusiasm is rivaled only by their Certamen skills.
